You CAN be heard by starting your own counter protest to nationalized health care events, here's how.
Beginning in late July and for the following 6 weeks the pro-nationalized Health Care component of our government and Organizing for America will be holding town halls and media events across the country. View town hall list here. Or scroll below this article, and click on your state to find one near you.
We must show up at every one of these events and make OUR voice heard as well. Find out if one is being held in your state by clicking on your state below this post. Note the dates, use the event scheduler here on Tea Party Patriots and organize your own local members to show up.

How to be Heard
Tools
We have two well designed gloss print quality documents for you to download. These can be printed on high quality flyer paper and handed out at the town halls, left in public places or handed out door to door. Download Flyer, Download Place Card. We recommend taking these files to your local printer and asking them to print them, just decide how many you need. If you would prefer to use our print company and have them shipped, send an email to Janet. You will find many more tools in the Tea Party Patriots Health Care Toolbox.
Organize Your People
Contact your local Tea Party Patriots organization and ask them to show up in numbers to provide a counter to the pro health care attendees. It is recommended that your group have a game plan ready BEFORE arriving. Those attending should plan on meeting to discuss the demeanor that should be displayed. It is important to make sure all attendees are aware that we are always to be respectful of other opinions and don't engage in shouting matches. We need to win by debating in a civilized manner and by being informed on the issues and ideas and not trying to out shout each other.
What to discuss in the pre event meeting?
A few things to discuss.. what to say if press arrives and starts interviewing people. The right demeanor in front of the camera is a great way to get more people to listen and see Tea Party Patriots in a great light. Advice on how to conduct interviews can be found on the web, if individuals are unsure, they do not have to be interviewed. Tip!
Make sure to get plenty of video and photos of the event, post them to YouTube and your photo albums and share with us and other Tea Party Patriots. Remind your protest attendees that they may be on video along with those who support nationalized health care.
Stay the Course
Nationalized health care supporters will being pushing again very soon on health care and soon after that, cap and trade will move to the forefront. We need to be prepared and have Tea Party Patriots standing by, ready to move and protest when a call goes out. This takes planning, so make sure to discuss it during your meetings.

Tea Party Patriots across the country are making an enormous difference. One interesting fact that I recently noticed was that in the days immediatly following April 15th and July 4th, the presidential approval index on Rassmussen Reports hit new lows. Meaning the message is getting out to Americans a little at a time. We must keep on working to wake up those that are not paying attention.
